This was a commission to make a set of four bed side tables incorporating reclaimed bases from the classic Eames "Eiffel" base side chair.
The program called for a minimalist open storage unit which created some unique and fun woodworking challenges in hiding the method of connection between base and case as well as ensuring structural integrity of the thin-paneled case itself.
